He was here for the Toyota Country Lights Festival in July and he'll be at Magic City Music Hall on the 28th. He's doing a new song with Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum called Driver. He also just won an award for his song, She Don't Love You. He's Eric Paslay.

Every October, the HAWK pulls out all the stops to bring you the best concerts and some big flyaways for country music month.

It sounds so great to say these words, "Magic City Music Hall is back." If you haven't heard the news, Magic City Music Hall is back and it's at a new location!

It's Throwback Thursday and today we're throwing you some great news. Jake Owen is joining Kenny Chesney at the Taste of Country Music Festival, June 10th-12th at the Hunter Mountain. Wow,  Kenny and I look young in this picture. Well it was 15 years ago.

As soon as the HAWK announced Colin and Brad's Two Man 'Improv' show coming to the Broome County Forum Theater November 5th, the phone lines in the HAWK studios went crazy.  Best known from the long running TV series 'Whose Line Is It Anyway,' this show is sure to be a sell out in Binghamton.

Farm Aid begins today and is 30 years old.  That's 30 years of helping family farms, including the men and women who make it work here in the Southern Tier.  With all the questions on GMO's and corporate farming, Farm Aid is more important than ever.

Magic City Music Hall on Harry L. Drive in Johnson City was a great place to see music of all genres. Bands and fans alike loved the intimacy and the closeness, but sadly, the music venue closed their doors in 2008 and left a gaping hole in the hearts of music lovers.

Great national acts, falling gas prices and nice weather help to break the all-time attendance mark at Chevy Court at the New York State Fair. Over 220,000 people attended Chevy Court during the just concluded Fair.

A lot is happening with the NYS Fair. First, the Fair wanted to be more diverse with their music at Chevy Court. They are known for having Country and Classic Rock artists playing. For example, the Oak Ridge Boys & Joe Nichols performed yesterday (9/1). However the music diversity may have backfired on them.

Thanks for reaching out to the HAWK this week to share your excitement about tonight's concert with Lady Antebellum and Sam Hunt concert at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open.  After a long work day, we realize it can get kind of crazy getting things together for the big show tonight that starts at dusk.

Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum and I have something in common. Maybe we can share it this weekend....I can dream. We both have the same passion for golf. We like the same kind  of golf club and country music. Here's his story.

The DICK'S Sporting Goods Open is here. Tomorrow (8/25) the activities start and for the 3rd straight year, it kicks off with the Health Expo and Golf Show with Nancy Lopez.

Davis College is raising awareness for Backpacks for Kids, hosting a Hometown Hunger Concert on Saturday, August 29th at Davis College on Riverside Drive in Johnson City. The concert will feature local band When Oceans Rise.

The field for next weeks DICK'S Sporting Goods Open continues to grow. 3 rookies and a couple of 2nd year vets have signed on. Stephen Ames and Woody Austin are in their 2nd season on the Champions Tour. Champions Tour Rookies Carlos Franco, Jesper Parnevik, and Jerry Smith are also coming to En-Joie Golf Course.
