Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum and I have something in common. Maybe we can share it this weekend....I can dream.

We both have the same passion for golf. We like the same kind  of golf club and country music. Here's his story.

Charles met a guy at one of the Lady A shows that worked for Calloway. He told the singer that he’d be happy to customize a set of clubs for him. He was fitted with the Calloway Razr.

He is 6 ft 6, so it's hard for him to find clubs that fit and work right. I have trouble finding clubs that don't bust when they hit the ground....for the 6th time.

It's one of the best things that's happened to him. My best thing is that a friend of mine is really good at re-shafting golf clubs. Especially at fixing my..I mean golfers...drivers.

The last one he re-shafted help me drive it longer and straighter. Yeah, longer and straighter into the woods.

Charles was asked to pick between a hole in 1 or a number 1 song.  He chose the song. Since I've had neither, I'll have to wait and see.

By the way if you buy your ticket for the Sam Hunt/Lady Antebellum concert on Friday at any Wendy's restaurants then 35 dollars of it goes to Wendy's Walk for Kids.

The Walk happens Sunday afternoon at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open. It starts at 4pm this year. You could walk the 18th green as the final group is coming down it.

It's a great event to help the the kids in the Southern Tier. To find out more about the Wendy's Walk for Kids, go here.
