Last night was a good night for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. My daughter Riley threw out the first pitch....Strike. My other daughter Tara took the baseballs out to the umpire and it just got better from there.

The Ponies had a season high three home runs in the game and they have a hit a home run in five straight games. The pitching staff also threw a season high 14 strikeouts. The more strikeouts they throw, the more money CHOW receives for "Strike Out Hunger."

Binghamton ends the night with a 5-4 victory over the Akron RubberDucks when Matt Oberste provided the final run with a lead-off homer in the 6th.  They look to make it four wins in a row with a matinee affair on 3rd Shift Workers Appreciation Day. It also works well for morning on-air personality's.

First pitch is at 12:05. This way you can enjoy the game and still have the rest of the night. Here's an idea for everyone else: Work in the morning, take a half day and enjoy some Rumble Pony baseball.

See you at the park and LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!
