I've gotten many great presents through the years including a trip to Nashville, Washington Redskins tickets, my sister Michelle on my second birthday and my best gift ever, Tara being born on my 40th birthday.

I was talking to a listener recently and she told me that she remembers the day that I announced her birth on the radio and now Tara is 21. WOW! So what would I really like for my birthday today? It's easy, especially this year with everything that is happening in our country at the moment.

The best gift would be your help in our annual Food-a-Bago Food Drive for Broome County CHOW that begins today (November 3rd) through Monday, November 10th  at 9 a.m.

Food-A-Bago Food Drive For Broome County CHOW

I'll be at the Oliver's Camper in the Weis Market parking lot,1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton every morning. We are once again looking for nonperishable food and monetary to benefit donations to help Broome County's Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW).

Remember that CHOW can turn $1 into 5 complete meals and all donations are tax-deductible. Cash is always accepted and if you choose to give by check, make it payable to Music for the Mission and they'll make sure it goes directly to CHOW. This year, we will also have a on-site QR code available for secure online donations.

Donations are accepted from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. over the weekend and from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. next Monday, November 10th. If your schedule is tight, you can leave items in the blue bins outside of the Food-a-Bago camper.

If you can't make it to Weis Market this week, you can drop off your non-perishable food items at 21st Century Pools and Spas in Vestal or Superior Plus Propane (formerly Warner's Gas Service), 116 Old Vestal Road, Vestal.
