Broome County CHOW

Thanks to everyone who took time out of their busy day to contribute to Food-A-Bago.

Monday was not a slow day by any means for donations to Broome County CHOW.

Anyone can suddenly find themselves in need of help from Broome County CHOW.

To say that we are thrilled with the amount of non-perishable food and monetary donations over the 8-day food drive, would be an understatement.

It was a busy day in the parking lot of the Weis Food Market, 1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton.

Thursday, November 2nd was the 4th day of our annual Food-A-Bago food drive, and it was another good day.

The inclement weather didn't deter people from stopping by to drop off non-perishable foods and monetary donations to go toward heling families in need in our communities.

After just two days, we are really happy to see how well non-perishable food and monetary donations have come in so far.

If my memory is still in tact, I believe this the the best Monday we've had in the 23 years of the Food-A-Bago food drive for Broome County CHOW.

For every dollar donated, Broome County CHOW is able to put together FIVE meals to distribute to local families. That is amazing!

With so many people suffering food insecurity in the Southern Tier, the need for food is greater then ever. Because of this, the services provided by the Broome County Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW) is more important than ever...

So many people stop by not just to drop off a food item or monetary donation, but to tell us how much it means to them.
