Tuesday, October 31st may have been Halloween, but it wasn't frightful during day two of our annual Food-A-Bago food drive for Broome County CHOW.

We were greeted by many people from our community stopping by with non-perishable food or monetary donations to help families in need in our area. Thanks to Deanna, Kathy, Michele, Lana, Cara, Don, Marsha, Nicki, Traci, and May, and several persons who wished to remain anonymous for their donations on Tuesday. Hopkins Forestry donated $500!

And of course, the Square Deal Riders Motorcycle Club for dropping by again this year. They presented us with a check for $450! That will help CHOW prepare a lot of meals. One dollar is equal to five meals according to Broome County CHOW.

After just two days, we are really happy to see how well non-perishable food and monetary donations have come in so far, and people from our community have filled over three large food bins inside the Broome County CHOW truck. Believe me, each of those bins can hold a lot of food, so we have a ways to go to fill that truck!

We are taking non-perishable food and monetary donations every day through Monday morning, November 6th. No matter how large or small, every item and dollar counts.

You will find your favorite Townsquare Media radio personality in the Oliver's of Norwich camper, located in the parking lot of the Weis Food Market, 1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton.
