Monday was not a slow day by any means for donations to Broome County CHOW.

Anyone can suddenly find themselves in need of help from Broome County CHOW.

Be a food superhero! Contribute to the Food a Bago food drive for CHOW and show love and support to those in need. Together, we can make a positive impact in combating hunger.

To say that we are thrilled with the amount of non-perishable food and monetary donations over the 8-day food drive, would be an understatement.

It was a busy day in the parking lot of the Weis Food Market, 1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton.

Thursday, November 2nd was the 4th day of our annual Food-A-Bago food drive, and it was another good day.

The inclement weather didn't deter people from stopping by to drop off non-perishable foods and monetary donations to go toward heling families in need in our communities.

After just two days, we are really happy to see how well non-perishable food and monetary donations have come in so far.

If my memory is still in tact, I believe this the the best Monday we've had in the 23 years of the Food-A-Bago food drive for Broome County CHOW.

For every dollar donated, Broome County CHOW is able to put together FIVE meals to distribute to local families. That is amazing!

New Yorkers are not alone in the economic downturn; Townsquare Media and CHOW are joining forces to help those suffering from food insecurity.

From local farmers, food manufacturers and wholesalers, to government agencies and federal programs, CHOW is adept at finding ways to acquire food at reduced costs.
