Every day we hear awful news that makes us doubt whether goodness still exists within people. Well, I'm here to tell you that it does.

82-year-old Bud of Wisconsin spent more than half of his life with his wife and love, Betty, before she passed away two years ago.

Bud's love for Betty is still strong despite her passing and every day he walks to the park with a daisy where he sits and talks to her on a bench he bought and dedicated to her after her death.

But after Wisconsin got slammed with snow a few weeks ago, Bud had to stay in his car to talk to his life because the weather was too much of an obstacle for him to overcome.

Two park employees had noticed Bud's routine and that he wasn't able to navigate through the snow to his wife's bench, so they decided to help.

The two employees each grabbed a shovel, saying, “We have to make sure he can get to his bench and talk to his wife.” But this wasn't just a one time deal. The two have vowed that they'll continue shoveling a path for Bud through the entire winter.

Faith in humanity restored.
