Five Mile Point Speedway took last weekend off for Mother's Day but they are back at it again this Saturday and they really want to make it worth your while. It's only done once a year, it's "Pack the Track Night" with $5 grandstand admission.

They finished grading and packing the track and they are ready for a huge night on the track and in the grandstands...even if they have a week of rain.

If you haven't been to the track this year, then you haven't see some of the upgrades that have been made including the new foam blocks on the track. Two weeks ago, they proved that they were worth every penny spent on them. Every driver that crashed was able to walk away including Xcel rookie driver, Chelsey Beebe.

She was going full throttle in turn one when she slammed into the foam blocks. She got out of the car under own power and we hope she's ready to go again this weekend.
