Local Organization Saving The Day During Coronavirus Pandemic

I hope by now that you've heard about "Super Cooper Saves The Day." It's in honor of Cooper Busch who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia when he was only four years old.

He lost his battle on Sunday, May 6th, 2018, and his family wanted to find a way to honor his memory by saving the day for others. Boy have they ever!

Wednesday, May 6th was the latest blessing to come from Super Cooper. It was his second angel day and the family wanted to save the day for many people in our area. They spread smiles to 21 employees at Aldi's on Upper Front Street in Binghamton, along with 40 workers at the Price Chopper location on 12A in Chenango Bridge.

They gave out Super Cooper socks, a souvenir cup, and $25 gift certificates to a local business. They are also in the process of giving the community a Super Cooper Memorial Playground at the Chenango Bridge Civic Park on River Road and we can't wait till it's ready.

They are making a difference during this coronavirus pandemic and giving hope in what can feel like a hopeless situation for many. Cooper was a bright light in a dark world and his light still shines bright today.
