Helping Neighbors in Need in New York This Summer
Well, New Yorkers, the school year is coming to a close with summer just around the corner. Unfortuanetly, there are many families in the Empire State that could be facing a tough time with access to daily meals with school out of session.
Summer Food Drive by Market 32 and Price Chopper
Here is some good news! Market 32 and Price Chopper are stepping up to lend a helping hand! They are starting a summer food drive in all 129 of their stores across six states, including New York!
How You Can Pitch In
From now to July 5th, you can stop by your local Market 32 or Price Chopper and grab a $10 bag filled with PICS brand items and they will be donated to a local food pantry.
Making a Local Impact
Every store will work directly with a nearby food pantry to make sure that the donated food goes straight to those in need in our communities.
Showing Support in a Big Way
The bags will be easy to find at the front of each store, with signs letting you know what pantry that your purchase will be supporting.
Spreading Summer Joy through Food
According to Pam Cerrone, Market 32 and Price Chopper’s community relations director, “Summer should be a time of fun and freedom, not hunger.” This is a way to make sure that everyone can enjoy the break with access to food.

You're going to Price Chopper anyway, so why not show some love for your neighbor that is in need this summer through the Market 32 and Price Chopper's food drive!
