Binghamton Area Price Chopper Stores Hold Pet Food Drive
Pets have been a part of my family for my whole life and I love what what Price Chopper is doing in our area. Market 32 and Price Chopper stores in the Binghamton area are holding a pet food drive now through October 10th. You can take part by buying a $10 bag of pet food during your next grocery trip.
A Simple Way to Help Local Pets
Each donation bag includes five Pure Harmony dog or cat food items. The food will be given to an animal shelter or pet support group in the local community. The donations will help feed animals waiting to be adopted.
They will also support programs that help families who may be having a hard time buying food for their pets. For people facing a tight budget, pet food can be one more expense to worry about. These donations can help families keep their dogs and cats healthy and in their homes.
Support for Shelters and Families
Animal shelters take care of many dogs and cats every day. These food donations can help shelters stretch their budgets and focus their resources on medical care, housing, and finding animals permanent homes.

The pet food drive is also meant to help pet owners who are experiencing food insecurity. Keeping pets fed can make a real difference for people who see their animals as important members of the family.
How Binghamton Area Shoppers Can Take Part
Shoppers can look for the $10 donation bags at participating Market 32 and Price Chopper stores in the Binghamton area through October 10th. “Pets are family too, and together, we can help make sure they get the food and care they need,” said Dani Tremblay, manager of community relations for Market 32 and Price Chopper.
