'It's All About the Distance' Free Event at the DSG Open

The DICK'S Sporting Goods Open begins next week (8/13-8/19) at the En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott but it's more then just great Champions Tour golf.

On Wednesday, it's the Golf Expo with Annika Sorenstam, Friday is the Blake Shelton concert and the "Walk to Defeat ALS" on Sunday. The DSG Open is proud to announce a new event to it's schedule, "It's All About The Distance" on Thursday the 16th at 9 a.m.

It's a free, fun and informative time at the Security Mutual's Corporate Hospitality Tent along the 18th green.

Special guests include PGA Tour Champion Pro and former winner of the B.C Open, John Daly. He won the PGA Championship in 1991, the B.C. Open in 1992 and the biggest win in his career in 1995 at the British Open. "Long John Daly" will talk about his views on the game of golf and more importantly the game of life.
