Annika Sorenstam Hosts the Golf Expo at DSG Open Next Wednesday
It's almost here, in fact it begins next week, it's the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open at En-Joie Golf Course and it's much more then Champions Tour golf. Next Friday, August 17th, Blake Shelton will be performing and you can still get tickets at any local DICK'S Sporting Goods store.
One week from today (8/15), it's the annual Golf Expo and in the past we've had golf legends Nancy Lopez and Peter Jacobsen. This year, we're having our biggest guest yet when World Golf Hall of Fame member Annika Sorenstam will be making her first appearance in our area.
She's had 72 LPGA victories including 10 majors, she's also the last women to tee it up on a PGA tour event in the Bank of America Colonial in 2003.
The Golf Expo will start at 5 p.m. with a live seminar by Sorenstam beginning around 6 p.m. with tips on improving golf swings and most importantly overall fitness.
UHS is the sponsor again this year and will provide educational materials related to urology, orthopedics and men’s and women’s health issues. There will be clinical experts and providers from many specialties there to answer any of your questions
