Humor to Help Lighten Your Election Day

It's Election Day and everyone seems stressed, anxious, depressed, or just plain worried about our future.  Here is one thing that can help you feel better today...or any day.

Today is also my birthday, so my gift to you is humor. I try to do that every weekday on the radio and hopefully I'll do better here. I'm another year older and I wish I was telling you I was getting wiser.

I may not be getting smarter but I do know this:

I don't remember being absent-minded.

If all is not lost, then where is it?

I finally got my head together and now my body is falling apart. Last month, I was putting a pan lid in the cupboard and pulled something in my back. That's what I get for helping around the house. Last year, I grabbed for the shampoo and couldn't move.

I'm a Christ-follower and as I get older, I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something and then wonder what I'm HERE AFTER.

As many people know, my daughter, Tara was born on my 40th birthday. Recently, she told me how special it is to share a birthday with me. and not everyone is as lucky. That is very special to me too.

I'm hoping that this helped take your mind off of all the craziness that seems to be happening all around us. I return you now to your regularly scheduled day.
