Hot Cross Run is a new energetic and extreme fitness experience that relaxes your body, but also challenges your stamina. The event includes a 15-minute hot yoga session, a cross-fit routine, and a two-mile run guided by fitness professionals from Bikram Yoga Binghamton, Southern Tier Crossfit, and Confluence Running.

The Greater Binghamton area's Hot Cross Run is not only giving the thumbs up for all to enjoy fitness, but the event is raising awareness and funds for the Southern Tier AIDS Program (STAP). The mission of STAP is to raise awareness of HIV and help stop the spread of the disease. Staff, volunteers and interns are working hard to improve public health and disease prevention by providing disease testing, risk assessment, prevention education, and navigation services to those at risk for HIV/AIDS, STDs, and Viral Hepatitis.

So get out those pedometers and yoga mats because you are in for a day full of fun and fitness while helping those in our community in the process! The event will be held at Otsiningo Park 1 Bevier St. Binghamton, NY, on June 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
