There are many new things happening with the Double-A Mets beginning next season. They have a new name: Binghamton Rumble Ponies. They are upgrading NYSEG Stadium to the tune of a $2.5 million dollar renovation which includes new stadium lighting, improvements to the clubhouse and the facility.

But wait, there's more. They will also have a new manager, Luis Rojas. He spent the past two seasons as the manager of the St. Lucie Mets.  He was named the top Florida State League manager last year by Baseball America.

He lead St. Lucie to the playoffs and looks to lead the team into it's new era. He replaces Pedro Lopez. Lopez has been promoted to manage the Triple-A Las Vegas 51s. Pedro had guided the team since 2014.

By the way, if you are looking to get Rumble Pony merchandise for Christmas or anytime, go here or stop by the store at NYSEG Stadium, Monday-Friday from 9a-5p.

Don't forget that they have a new number (607) 722-FUNN (3866). To keep up with all the exciting changes with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, go here.
