Basketball fans have been enjoying the madness of March especially if you are a Syracuse fan and we can't wait until Saturday night. I'm going to have to take a nap if I hope to make it past the 9:55 tip-off time.

That's not the only good news for New York basketball fans, the Binghamton Bulldogs are enjoying some post-season success as well. On Sunday, March 21st, the Bulldogs survived and advanced to the ABA regional championship game.

They overcame their worst shooting night of the year to squeeze out a 98-94 win over the #24 ranked Delco Desperados. It took a dunk by Derek Hart with 30 seconds left to seal the deal and advance to the next round.

Hart led the way with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Jackson Henri, Cecil Lane, and Joel Patch contributed by chipping in 13 points apiece.

Binghamton Bulldogs Advance To ABA Regional Championship Game

The Dawgs will travel and take on the #6 nationally ranked Steel City Yellow Jackets on Saturday, March 27th in Pittsburgh. This time of year, it's all about survive and advance and that's exactly what the Bulldogs are doing.

Saturday's tip-off is at 7 p.m. and will be LIVE streamed with their official play-by-play announcer Colby Smith. Think of it as a basketball doubleheader, enjoy the Dogs at 7 and then the Syracuse game at 9:55 p.m. It sounds like a great night of basketball to me.

Bulldogs Sports Complex

If you haven't heard, the Bulldogs will have a new place to call home beginning this summer. They signed a 7-year lease to move into the new Bulldogs Sports Complex (BSC) at 1025 Robinson Hill in Johnson City. This will make them the first ABA basketball team in history to have their own branded facility.

If you are just joining the Bulldog bandwagon, thanks for climbing aboard and we are glad that your here. LET'S GO DAWGS AND GOOD LUCK ON SATURDAY!
