For the last eight seasons, the Binghamton Bulldogs have entertained and captured the hearts of fans, and the Southern Tier community but now, the team is for sale.

A Humble Beginning

When the idea of starting an ABA team in Binghamton first came up eight years ago, Jimmy Evans didn't know where it would lead. Drawing inspiration from his experiences as a regular at Binghamton Mets and Binghamton Rangers games, he saw a chance to fill a void in Binghamton’s sports scene.

A Dream Realized

Evans looked to follow in the footsteps of other local minor league teams. He put together a talented squad, getting fans and sponsors on board, and it's been a ride filled with big moments both on and off the court.

Beyond the Wins

The Bulldogs had an incredible record at 143-34, with 3 East Region Championships, 2 trips to the Elite 8 and 1 trip to the Final 4. However, the real wins came from the bonds that were formed and the joy that filled the gym. The team's spirit was about community and togetherness.

Passing the Torch

After some careful thought, the difficult decision has been made to sell the rights to the ABA minor league team in Binghamton, this offseason. Bids are open until April 15th.

A Grateful Farewell

As the Binghamton Bulldogs start a new chapter, he wants to thank the players, staff, and loyal fans from the bottom of his heart. I would like to say "Thank you" to Jimmy for all the hard work that you and your wife, Meribeth have put in. I'm proud to call you my friend and I know that you will continue to find success as the Executive Director of the Bulldogs Sports Complex.
