Things are beginning to look up in 2021 and I have another thing to add to that list and it's the Binghamton Bulldogs. They've been tearing up the ABA league and soon they will have a new place to call home.

Earlier this week, the Bulldogs signed a 7-year lease to move into the new Bulldogs Sports Complex (BSC) at 1025 Robinson Hill in Johnson City. This will make them the first ABA basketball team in history to have their own branded facility...and what a facility, it'll be.

Bulldogs Sports Complex

They will be installing LED lighting and adding a large digital LEG scoreboard. They will have top-of-the-line flooring for ONE NBA size basketball court and TWO High School size basketball courts.

They'll add a rollup elevated divider curtain to separate each court for privacy and new sets of designer bleachers. That is only a part of it, there will also be a brand new roof and Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system.

The Bulldog Sports Complex is more than basketball

The BSC will also have Volleyball, Pickleball, indoor Cornhole tournaments, and a whole lot more. Our area has needed a multi-court facility for the longest time and the Bulldogs are bringing it to us.

So how long will we have to wait until the Bulldogs Sports Complex opens? Check this out, Summer 2021.

Binghamton Bulldogs Weekend Schedule

For now, the Binghamton Bulldogs will continue to play their home games at the Southern Tier Community Center, 1 Clubhouse Road, Endicott. They put their undefeated record on the line on Saturday against #20 nationally ranked Harlem Underdogs at 5 p.m. They'll end the weekend at home on Sunday against the NYC Black Eagles at 7:05 on Sunday.

I can't wait to see the new complex and congratulations to Jimmy Evans and the rest of Bulldog nation. Go Bulldogs!
