The Salvation Army does so much for our community and you can help them again this year and have a great time at the same time. It's the third annual "Bikers For Backpacks" Motorcycle Run & Rally to benefit The Salvation Army of Binghamton and to help send kids to camp for FREE.

Kickstands go up on Saturday, August 10th at 1 p.m. at Southern Tier Harley Davidson and includes a cookout lunch and ends at Touch of Texas on Upper Front Street in Binghamton. Dinner begins at 4 p.m. with a concert by the Beatles Tribute band, The Caverners at 5 p.m.

It's only $25 for riders, $10 for passengers which includes dinner at Touch of Texas and ticket to the show. Can't make it to the event but you want to help? Go here and help make a difference in the lives of our kids in our community.

Proceeds from the Bikers For Backpacks help to send children to The Salvation Army's Long Point Camp in Penn Yan every summer free of charge. Go here to register, buy tickets for the BBQ dinner and show at Touch of Texas or for the show only.

Let's get ready to ride for The Salvation Army this Saturday. It'll be a great time for a greater cause.
