Community Rallies for Southern Tier Singer Facing Unimaginable Surgery
Patty Patterson, is an incredibly talented singer and even a better person and she is facing an known unimaginable medical issue. Patty has been diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC),
This is a rare and very aggressive kind of cancer and usually requires many surgeries, treatments, and in Patty's case, the removal of her vocal box. To help Patty with her medical expenses, her friends and family are putting together an event called Patty-Palooza. This will be a day filled with love and live music as we support this terrific gal during this difficult, difficult time.
Patty-Palooza is on Saturday, April 6th, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Touch of Texas on Upper Front Street in Binghamton. Here are the scheduled times for the musical line-ups on Saturday.
Patty-Palooza Musical Line-Up
12:30 p.m.: Gene Hummel & Jake Vroman
1:45 p.m. Jason Wicks Band
3 p.m.: Nick G and the Neons
4:15 p.m.: Tim Ruffo
5:30 p.m. Nailed It! with Bob Patterson
6:45 p.m. DramaScream
But that's only a part of the Patty-Palooza party! There will be raffles and 50/50 drawings throughout the event. You won't have to worry about going hungry or thirsty because Touch of Texas will be serving up food and drinks for the occasion.
As Patty faces this unimaginable nightmare, family and friends want to make sure that she doesn't go through this alone. I know that Patty would appreciate your prayers and good thoughts through this difficult time.
The organizers are only asking a suggested donation of $10 for adults while kids twelve and younger are free. She is looking forward to speaking and, if everything goes right, even singing for the last time before the surgery.
Let's make Patty-Palooza memorable for her by coming together and making this an event to remember! This is a day to show our love and support for Patty. I hope to see you there!
