Are you a baker whose skill has gone unnoticed? Your friends tell you that you're a great apple pie maker and you want the world (or at least a part of it) to know. The Conklin Fair has the answer.

It's their Apple Pie & Cupcakes baking competition on Saturday, July 13th. You are encouraged to bring your apple pie or cupcakes (any kind - 1/2 dozen) to the Conklin Fair Stage by 1 p.m.

Bring them in a container that you don't want returned and include a 3x5 card with the dessert name/description, your name, address and telephone number. The 3x5 will be placed under your dessert at judging time.

Bring a copy of your recipe and your recipe will not be returned. You can also include your age if you want to be included in the youngest/oldest competition too. Judging is courtesy of the Moxie Wood Fire Grill and will begin at 1:15 p.m. on the stage.

Pies and cupcakes will become the property of the Fair Committee and will be auctioned or sold off to benefit the Conklin Fair Fireworks. 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes along with youngest and oldest baker will be awarded.

The Conklin Fair runs Thursday through Saturday, July 11th to 13th at the Floyd L. Maines Community Center Grounds, 942 Conklin Road.

So who make the best apple pie? Is it you? Find out this Saturday at the 48th annual Conklin Fair.
