A three-game road trip in New Hampshire would lead to a three-game win streak for the Rumble Ponies. Coming home to Binghamton, the team hoped to keep the streak alive against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at NYSEG Stadium on June 21.

Richmond looked to extinguish Binghamton's flame early as Will Maddox singles a line drive to third base to bring in Zach HouchinsHarol Gonzalez would mishandle the throw on a pickoff attempt, allowing Gio Brusa to come in as well, giving the Flying Squirrels the early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. In the top of the fourth, John Riley scores the third run for Richmond as Jacob Heyward singles on a grounder to left field.

A line drive to center field off the bat of Barrett Barnes scores Ali Sanchez and gives the Rumble Ponies their first run of the game in the bottom of the fourth. The Flying Squirrels would increase their lead as Gio Brusa homers to left center field, making the score 4-1 Richmond.

The Rumble Ponies tried to mount a comeback in the bottom of the ninth, but Richmond was able to close the game out and win by a final score of 4-1. This not only snaps the Rumble Ponies three-game winning streak, but it continues their five-game home losing streak as well. Binghamton will look for some Saturday night magic as it will be Disney Night at NYSEG Stadium. Game scheduled for a 6:35 P.M. start time on June 22.
