It's the second annual "Night to Shine" at the Chenango Valley High School this Friday, February 7th. It's a prom for teens and adults who have special needs and it's an experience that everyone involved will never forget.

It includes limo rides, red carpet walk, tuxedos and prom dresses, makeup, boutonnieres and corsages and so much more...and it's all free of charge. This will be the first prom for many of them that attend.

They aren't the only ones affected in a positive way but it's also a wonderful experience for those helping in this special event.

My daughter, Tara will be there as part of the Red Carpet and Dance Floor Team. She'll be greeting the guests on the red carpet and dancing with them throughout the night. I'm so proud of her and the heart that she has for helping other people.

There's also a Buddy Team, which means that there will be a buddy for every honored guest in attendance. They will stay with them throughout the night, ride in the limo around the school, walk the red carpet with them, eat dinner together, dance and crown them king or queen.

The First United Methodist Church is hosting it again this year and is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and it's an evening that no one will ever forget.
