As you may remember, the second annual "Night to Shine" at the Chenango Valley High School was postponed in February because of the AWFUL weather. There was some fear that it might not be rescheduled. I have great news...IT'S ON!!

A new date has been secured and it's happening on Saturday, March 28th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Chenango Valley High School. Night to Shine 2020 is a prom for teens and adults who have special needs and it's an experience that everyone involved will never forget.

There's a Buddy Team, which means that there will be a buddy for every honored guest in attendance. They'll stay with them throughout the night, ride in the limo around the school, walk the red carpet with them, eat dinner together, dance and crown them king or queen.

My daughter, Tara was going to be on the Red Carpet and Dance Floor Team. She was going to greet the guests on the red carpet and dance with them throughout the night. Unfortunately, she won't be able to make it now. She's going to Paris as part of a student exchange program.

This is where you can come in. They are in need of volunteers for this rescheduled event, go here to become a part of something special. This will affect you in ways that you would never have imagined and it's an experience that will last a lifetime.

The First United Methodist Church is hosting the event again this year and is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

Can't make it but would like to donate to Night to Shine 2020? You can send a check to:
