We all know somebody that has been affected by cancer. I lost my grandfather too soon because of this dreaded disease. One of my good friends is going through it now and I pray for him everyday. My wife recently had a cancer scare, but she seems to fine now.

Maybe you're going through it now. That's why tonight's Binghamton Rumble Ponies  game has a different feel to it. It's "We Care Wednesday" and the team is honoring the American Cancer Society and its efforts.

Tonight is "Pack the Park Pink" Night with specialty jerseys. You can bid on a game worn Pink Jersey or a Pink Hat with proceeds going towards the American Cancer Society. The silent auction for the jerseys and hats will be split between in-house and here.

It's a make-up doubleheader against the Harrisburg Senators. Two games for the price of one with first pitch at 5:35 p.m.

Thursday, August 8th is Irish Heritage Night and the first 1,000 fans through the gate will get a green/orange hat with music provided by the Maloney Pipe Band. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m.

The Ponies go on the road for the weekend but that doesn't mean that there won't be FUNN at the ballpark. This Saturday is Movie Night at NYSEG Stadium.

They will be showing "How to Train Your Dragon - The Hidden World" on their brand new video scoreboard. The gates open at 6:00 p.m with each kid getting a voucher for a FREE happy meal and a happy meal toy. The movie begins at 7 p.m.

There will some concessions available to buy near the right field entrance. You can bring a blanket and sit on the outfield grass for the movie and the movie is FREE to attend.

Remember to wear PINK to the park tonight and get ready for another FUNN time with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.
