Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Norwich Is Back

After a three-year layoff, the Mack is back. I'm talking about the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in Norwich. The Mack is hosted by the Norwich Family YMCA as an event to bring the community together and help the Norwich YMCA at the same time.

This year, they will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and people of all ages are invited to participate in this event. It's designed for males and females of all ages and the categories are: Under 8, under 10, 11 to12, 13 to14,15 to16, 17 to18,19 to 25, 26 to 29, and 30 plus.

2022 Gus Macker Basketball Tournament In Norwich

The Mack is back for the first time since 2019 and it'll take place on July 9th and 10th and the deadline to enter your team has been extended to Monday, June 27th. This is what you'll be a part of.

There are three divisions: Junior Divisions (18 years of age and below), Adult Divisions (19 years of age and above), and Top Divisions (Most experienced level of play). You can go here to register your team now. The deadline is extended to Monday, June 27th.

If you are not a basketball player but still want to be involved there are several things that you can do to help. Scorekeepers and volunteers are needed to help pull off this exciting event in Norwich. Go here to find out to help make the 25th year, its best year yet.
