Hey sports fans, Tim Tebow is back in New York. It's not the Jets, where he was a backup QB in 2012. It's not with the Giants or Buffalo. It's not even in football.

According to Fox Sports and the Binghamton Mets FB page, Tebow has signed with the New York...Mets. He hasn't played competitive baseball since high school, but will be giving it a shot with NY.

In a world that loves to highlight the bad, let's see what happens here. Tebow doesn't hide the fact that he's a Christ follower. That isn't easy to do especially when you're in such a high profile position like he is.

Many in the past have criticized Tebow for a taking a knee on the sidelines during a football game. How funny is it that the same people are silent when Colin Kaepernick takes a knee before his game.

I'm not saying whether Kaepernick should or shouldn't take a knee. What I'm saying is that the critics seem to be one-sided on this. I will say this, I'm glad that Kaepernick and San Francisco aren't playing until Monday and not on Sunday, September 11th.

Look even I did it. I started to talk about this great thing for Tebow and the Mets and I spent two paragraphs talking about Colin. So, back to Tim.

Tebow might end up playing in the Arizona Fall League until next year when there's a chance he could come to the Binghamton Mets. By then, they'll have a new name. I can see it now: "Ladies and Gentlemen, now batting Binghamton Stud Muffin, Tim Tebow."

Welcome Tim, hope to see you soon. If you're not doing anything, Saturday, September 17th, we'd love to see you at the Binghamton Mets Garage Sale.
