So the Binghamton Mets season has come to end. After 25 years, the name "Binghamton Mets" has come to an end as well.

They are making a change. The Double A Mets are staying in town but they'll have a new name with a new color scheme. There are many exciting things coming our way beginning next season.

We'll find out in October what the new name will be. So what will they do with all the Binghamton Mets merchandise? They'll do what we all do when we want to get rid of our treasures...It's time for a yard/garage sale.

It's happening today, Saturday, September 17th from 11am-5pm. It's a chance to get your own piece of Binghamton Mets history. We all have great memories.

For me, it's the Binghamton Mets winning it all in in 1992, 1994  and 2014. Even today, I have a ball from the final game in 1994.

The garage sale will be at NYSEG Stadium. You can buy/bid on all things Binghamton Mets including jerseys, helmets, chairs, stools, even signs from around the ballpark.

Remember, like most garage sales, the good stuff goes first so get there early.

We'll start new memories with a new name but you can remember your B-Mets forever with a piece of history...for a small price.
