The Takeout recently looked at the 2025 prices at different Major League Baseball stadiums across the country. According to their findings, the average price for a frankfurter at MLB stadiums this season comes in at $5.47. So which ballparks are pushing the limits with their hot dog prices?

The Pricey and the Budget-Friendly Bites

The title for the most expensive hot dog goes to Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, where each hot dog will set you back $7.96. On the flip side, the award for the most budget-friendly hot dog spot goes to Chase Field, where you can dig a dog for $3.07.

Splurging on Specialty Dogs and Beer Prices on the Side

Some ballparks are upping their hot dog game with their specialty offerings. How about a burrito version of the 24-inch Boomstick hot dog at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers. Hold on to your hat (and stomach) because it is priced at a jaw-dropping $35.99! Looking to save a little money, how about  the Hot Dawwg Triple Play at $32.99. I didn't say it was going to be cheap, just less expensive.

Chugging Down Beers: The League Average and the Priciest Pour

Once you have a dawg, you need something to wash it down with. so grab a cold one. So much does it cost to down a beer at the MLB ballparks? This season, the league average for a beer is $7.18.

The cheapest brew is at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, where you can enjoy a cold one for just $3.08. But if you find yourself at Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals, be prepared to spend $15.40 for a beer - the most expensive deal in the league this season! It's almost enough to give up drinking.
