Everything and everybody has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are told to practice social distancing and stay away from others. I don't know about you but I'll be thrilled when we can but the word "social distancing" behind us.

This is our reality, and as Traci always tells me "suck it up buttercup." Whether you like it or not, this is where we are at. There were many things that I was looking forward to including March Madness and Binghamton Devil PLAYOFF hockey.

Here's another sporting event that I'm sorry that's been put on hold. It's the Hockey 4 Hope charity ice hockey game later this month. It's a two-night event with "Paint on the Ice" scheduled for March 27th and the 11th Anual Hockey 4 Hope charity game on March 28th.

This local charity event is managed by the Constance Foundation and its mission is to help alleviate the financial burden associated with cancer. This will be more important than ever with the current climate that we are in.

The good news is that according to their website, they are going to reschedule it but no date has been set as of yet. If they do end up having it, it would be the perfect fit at a perfect time.

It's an event that offers Hockey, Hope, and Help. You can go here to keep up with all the latest information.
