Getting Cheesy to Help Out a Good Cause

Do you know who introduced macaroni and cheese to the United State? The answer at the end. Speaking of mac and cheese, after all these years, my cheesiness is going to pay off in a big way.

I've been asked to be a part of Binghamton's Third Annual Mac & Cheese Fest at the Holiday Inn Binghamton Downtown. I hope you'll join me this Thursday, March 22nd from 5:30 - 8:30pm and it benefits the Binghamton Philharmonic.

I'm going to be in one room surrounded by 30 different types of mac and cheese. It's my chance to try them all and not be judged by others....because I get to be a judge.

It's a night of mouth watering, deliciously cheesy dishes prepared by restaurants in Broome County. Go here for more info and ticket information. So let's get cheesy this Thursday at the 3rd annual Mac & Cheese Fest at the Holiday Inn in Binghamton.

Okay, the answer is...Thomas Jefferson. He brought the recipe back to the States after a trip to Italy.
