Binghamton’s Zoo Is Giving You A Chance To ‘Feast With The Beasts’
The Delta variant is leaving many people unsure of what's going to happen next. Many counties including Broome are now mandating that you have to wear a mask inside a county building even if you are already vaccinated. Don't even get us started on what that could mean for the kids as they are getting ready to go back to school.
We are less than two weeks away from the beginning of the New York State Fair and an increase in COVID cases could impact it again this year. Closer to home, Ross Park Zoo has announced that masks will be required in certain areas of the zoo, even if you've been vaccinated.
That could make things interesting with temperatures in the 90's this week. With that being said, one of my favorite events at Ross Park Zoo is coming back for the summer of 2021, it's "Feast With The Beasts." It's their biggest fundraiser of the season and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Feasts With The Beast Ross Park Zoo
Save the date: Wednesday, August 25th with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. and the fun of the Feast goes until 8:30 p.m. My friend, Jeff, and the rest from Food & Fire will satisfy your animal cravings while the Binghamton Philharmonic will provide music with charms to soothe the savage beast.
I know "beast" is missing the letter "r" but then it wouldn't make as much sense. Here is your chance to feast and help out Ross Park Zoo at the same time. America's 5th oldest zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton.
