According to a press release statement Binghamton Philharmonic executive director Paul Cienniwa said “as everyone knows, while it’s now possible to go out to restaurants, there isn’t a whole lot to do before or afterwards”

The concerts will feature one or two soloist musicians from the Philharmonic’s orchestra roster

Cienniwa says  “our social gathering concerts provide the opportunity for a night out on the town”.

There will be a restriction of up to forty-five audience members.

The first two events will be held at the Double Tree in downtown Binghamton, they will feature BPO principal cellist Hakan Tayga in works of Bach and Ligeti on Saturday October 10th at 7pm, and BPO concertmaster Uli Speth and BPO principal pianist Tomoko Kanamaru on Saturday October 24th at 7pm.
