Binghamton Bulldogs Quest For #1 in the Country
It's been quite a year for the Binghamton Bulldogs and it's time to get serious because it's playoff time. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 14-6 record and will be the #3 seed in the North East Division Playoffs and will have a first-round bye.
They will host the winner of the Western Mass Zombies and Plaistow Shockers game on Saturday. March 21st. The championship game is on Saturday, April 4th. Go here to see the entire bracket.
That's just the beginning of the post-season for the Dogs. This year, they will be hosting the National ABA Tournament and ABA All-Star game from April 15th to April 25th.
The National Tournament brings the top 8 teams left in the country. It's the ABA version of the Final Four and the Bulldogs will be there because they are hosting the tournament this year...and they are that good.
Undefeated Wyoming Valley is the #1 seed in the country and a bye straight to the Elite 8. The Bulldogs had an epic road game against the Clutch in the regular-season finale. They came up short by a 100-94 score and they'll look to avenge the loss and win the big prize in the national tournament. Find out how to get your tickets here.
By the way, if you're looking for something for the kids to do this Friday, March 13th. It's Superintendents Day, so get the kids off the couch and away from the video games and get some basketball work in. It's their "Spring Into Action Camp" but there aren't many spots left, go here to get involved.
Get ready to HOWWWWLLLLLL AND LET'S GO DAWGS!!!
