It was Italian Heritage Night at NYSEG Stadium on June 15. To show their appreciation, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies became the Binghamton Spiedies as they faced the Altoona Curve.

The Spiedies got the early lead as Braxton Lee grounds one to second base bringing home Andres GimenezHunter Owen would later tie the game in the top of the fourth as he soloes a homer to left field. Owen ended up scoring again as Bligh Madris hit a two-run shot to right center field, giving Altoona a 3-1 lead in the top of the sixth. A single to center field from Jerrick Suiter would send home Pedro Vasquez and Robbie Glendinning, putting the Curve up 5-1 in the top of the seventh.

Binghamton wouldn't be able to mount a comeback and the Spiedies lose the game by a final score of 5-1. The Rumble Ponies have lost five series in a row, as well as their fourth straight game in a row. This drops their season record to 33-28 overall. The final game against the Altoona Curve will be at NYSEG Stadium on June 16 at 2:05 P.M.
