The excitement begins tonight at NYSEG Stadium as the Binghamton Rumble Ponies begin their second season at home against the Portland Sea Dogs. There has been a lot of exciting news heading into season with Tim Tebow beginning the season in Binghamton.

Do you remember last year when we were wondering if the season would get started on time because of all the snow? We may have a little snow problem but NOTHING like last year. In fact, the weatherman says that it'll be cloudy but no snow...we just won't mention the temperatures will be in the lower 20's. Does it sound better to say upper teens or lower 20's? I digress.

With Tebow in town, ticket sales have taken off and it's safe to say that this will be the biggest home opener ever (ticket sale wise) since the Met's brought the franchise to town in 1992.

You usually wouldn't say "get there early" when the temperatures are in the 20's but if you're one of the first 1,000 fans, you'll get a Rumble Ponies fleece blanket. It wouldn't be a bad idea to bring your own, along with gloves, hats and hand-warmers.
