Binghamton Rumble Ponies Release 2018 Promotional Schedule

With over a foot of snow on the ground, it's hard to think about Spring and baseball but before you know it, it'll be Binghamton Rumble Ponies time. If you're stuck in the house or can't get off the hill, maybe this will help you to pass the time and think of warmer things.

With opening day less then five weeks away...WOW, that's hard to believe. Here's the Binghamton Rumble Ponies promotional schedule with 15 fireworks shows, nine giveaways and a pair of spectacular appearances by Dakota and Friends Animatronic Dinosaurs on June 23rd and David Smith Jr., The Human Cannonball on July 5th (now that's a firework show not to miss.)

It all begins on Opening Night as they will be giving away free fleece blankets to the first 1,000 fans to RumbleTown on Thursday, April 5th. There will be many exciting promotions but one of the new ones include a Big Brothers Big Sisters Day on Saturday, July 7th in honor of the late Marion O'Connor.

In December of 2017, the Ponies got a donation of $195,159 from O'Connor. Her estate gave the organization the money as a way of thanking them for installing a handicapped lift at NYSEG Stadium which let her and her brother go to the games and make some awesome memories.

Another promotion that began last year, that I'm looking forward to again this year is on May 4th when the Rumble Ponies will wear one-of-a-kind Do It For Daron "Purple Ponies" jerseys.

It all comes to an end at home in September with a Big Bang Boom Fireworks Show on Sunday, September 2nd and the final game on Monday, September 3rd but let's not think about the end before it begins.
