50 years of CMA Memories will take center stage when the 50th Annual Country Music Association Awards will be handed out, Wednesday November 2nd at 8 p.m. Eastern time on ABC-TV.  While this award show is usually one of the best music award shows of the year, it's the 50th that has everyone talking, as it's an extra special evening in the history of country music.

If you're rather new to country music, you might think that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have been hosting this prestigious award show forever.  While they do a fine job and it may seem like they have been hosting for a long time, Carrie and Brad have been only hosting the CMA Awards since 2008.  The host that holds the record for hosting the longest is none other than Vince Gill, who hosted the CMA's from 1992 to 2003.  So three more years, and Carrie and Brad will tie Vince.

With this being the 50th year for the Country Music Association Awards, I thought it would be fun to take a quick look back on some of the past hosts of the CMA's, including Johnn Cash, Barbara Mandrell, Willie Nelson, Anne Murray and Clint Black.  Enjoy!
