West Family YMCA Aqu-Egg Hunt Will Make a Splash with Your Kids
My son is two-years-old and has just discovered that he adores bunny rabbits. As a matter of fact, we were out shopping and John walked by a bunny ear headband and fell so in love with it that I was more than happy to shell out the dollar so that he could wear it. And he did. All day long, and everywhere that we went.
If you’ve got little ones who not only love bunnies (especially the Easter bunny!) but also swimming, you won’t want to miss the Aqua Egg Hunt which happens this Saturday, April 1st at the West Family YMCA in Johnson City.
The Aqua Egg Hunt is open to the public and will take place from 5pm-8pm. There will be different waves, so you don’t have to feel pressure to get there right at 5pm, but you should know that the last wave of eggs will happen at 7:30pm. Your kids will be able to hunt for eggs after they get their photo taken with the Easter bunny.
This event is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted if you’d like to give a little something to the YMCA to say thanks for doing things like this for our community.
If you plan on going to the Aqua Egg Hunt, there are some things you need to keep in mind:
- All kids not potty trained must wear a swim diaper in the pool.
- All kids that can’t swim or touch the bottom in the shallow end must wear a float belt or other approved flotation device and must be accompanied by an adult.
- No water wings or inflatable devices will be allowed.
