5 Apple Jokes Overheard at the Greene Applefest

The Greene Apple Festival in a great and enjoyable festival that takes place in Greene, New York every September.  This weekend's weather sounds perfect for Saturday's fest. The festivities take place on the ballflats just off Genesee Street in the heart of downtown Greene and features hundreds of Vendors, great food and everything you can image...apple!

I never try to miss an opportunity to visit Greene because it's a very laid back place with some neat shops, restaurants and the totally remodeled historic Sherwood Hotel.  But every September, thousands come out to enjoy this popular festival that honors the apple.

At last year's festival, I overheard some great apple jokes (thanks to my cousin) that I thought would be fun to share with you; maybe a funny (?) way to entertain on your way to the festival.

1)    Why did the apple cry?  It's peelings were hurt

2)   Why was the apple alone with the orange?  Because the banana split

3)   Why did the apple go to the doctor?  Because he felt rotten to the core

4)   What kind of apple has a bad temper?  A crab apple

5)   Why did the apple stop running?  Because he ran out of juice
