You Can Name the Rumble Ponies Mascot

It'll be here before you know it, the inaugural season of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies but there is a lot going before the season begins. They team has a new name  and a horse with no name (it reminds me of that song by America.)

Don't forget about the popular "Meet the Rumble Ponies" dinner on Tuesday, April 4th at a new location, Holiday Inn in downtown Binghamton. This usually sells out, so get your tickets now. You'll meet the new Rumble Ponies Manager Luis Rojas.

Rumble Ponies owner John Hughes will be on hand to talk about the stadium improvements and some of the upcoming promotions. One of the promotions this year will be a special appearance by Darryl Strawberry.

Don't forget opening night is Thursday, April 13th with first pitch at 6:35 at NYSEG Stadium. Stick around after the game for the first of many firework nights.

Okay, back to naming the Rumble Pony, you only have until March 18th to submit your mascot name. I thought about submitting the name "Gonna Be Glue" but thought again and decided that will NEVER work.
