Touch of Texas on Upper Front Street in Binghamton was on a roll as they brought in some mighty country muscle to town.  Acts like Randy Houser, LOCASH, Riley Green, Travis Denning, Granger Smith, Tezza, and the Eli Young band in the last 12 months or so. Then the coronavirus pandemic hit and brought EVERYTHING to a halt.

The questions I've been getting asked as of late is "When will Touch of Texas open?" or "Will Touch of Texas open?" I chatted with Terry from Touch of Texas and we have good news to pass along. They are going to open back up but when is anybody's guess.

The biggest problem is the current travel restrictions and mandatory quarantine guidelines. For example, Jerrod Niemann was scheduled for Friday, July 17th. According to the latest New York guidelines, if he were coming from Nashville, he would have to self-quarantine for 14 days. He may Love NY but he doesn't want to stay that long.

The show will be rescheduled and they hope to have him at TOT in November. ALL tickets that were previously sold WILL BE HONORED on the new date.

The Matt Stell show is still scheduled for Saturday, October 10th for his (love this name) Everywhere But On Tour. If you won tickets with us, they will still be honored when he eventually comes to Upper Front Street, Binghamton.

As for their reopening, they are waiting for the proper go-ahead for a venue of their size, and here's something to keep in mind. Touch of Texas expects that they will have to limit ticket sales once they resume concerts, so don't wait till the last minute.

As you know, the goalposts move all the time but the good news is...TOUCH OF TEXAS WILL OPEN AGAIN! Go here to keep up with all the latest Touch of Texas news.
