Businessman Adam Weitsman is making a significant donation to Boys and Girls Clubs following Syracuse's dramatic basketball victory over Duke.

Before Monday night's game, Weitsman posted on Facebook that he would give $150,000 to be shared by clubs in Owego, Binghamton and Syracuse in the event of an Orange victory.

Syracuse wound up winning the game in North Carolina 95-91 in overtime.

In his post, Weitsman wrote: "If the stars align correctly, we can beat these guys right on their home court."

After the game, Weitsman expressed his happiness for the coach and the team for what he called "this epic win."

On Tuesday morning, Weitsman posted another message announcing an additional $25,000 donation to the Endicott Boys and Girls Club to support its programs.

Weitsman owns Upstate Shredding in Owego, where he grew up.
