Llamas are saving the world. That's the view of the folks at a farm in Old Forge, who host llama treks through the Adirondacks. Decrease your stress levels, just an hour from Utica.

Anne Phinney is the owner of Moose River Farm in Old Forge. She loves her llamas, and is pretty convinced you will too. Anne and her llamas have been welcoming visitors for years now, helping people forget their stress, make a new friend, and enjoy the outdoors. Let's face it - what's not to like about llamas?

Aside from llama treks, Anne also offers tours of her farm where you can visit with horses, dogs, goats, donkeys, llamas, geese, chickens, ducks, tortoises and a pot belly pig, too.

You can schedule your stress-relieving llama hike by calling Moose River Farm by calling 315.369.3854 or texting 315.240.4707. You can also email mooseriverfarm@gmail.com.

Lllama treks are $25 per person, farm tours are $10 per person, and children are welcome.
