We have a bunch of amazing brunch options right here in the Utica/Rome area, it's hard to make a decision some days which one to pick. Yet, this weekend, I know exactly where I'm going, even if it's a little bit of a trip.

The wonderful owners of Moose River Farm are teaming up with the Great Pines Resort in Old Forge for brunch. It's not just any brunch though, it's an experience unlike any other.

LLAMA BRUNCH. SAY WHAT?

"A Lovely Llama Brunch" is happening this Sunday, August 16th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Attendees will be able to interact with the animals from the farm, then will be escorted over to a designated area for seating for brunch.

From there, you'll be served a brunch 'board' with your mimosas (or orange juice if you're under the age of 21.) The llamas of Moose River Farm will be walking around interacting with you during that time.

Be sure to reserve your spot early! Limited spots available and no walk-up reservations will be accepted. Masks will also be required while up and walking around the farm, but can be removed once sitting at the table.

If you're interested in making a reservation, it's $30 per person for brunch, drinks and the llama/animal petting. Email events@greatpineslodge.com if you're interested to make a reservation.

Moose River Farms and Great Pines are both incredible places to visit when you're in Old Forge. Great Pines offers lakeside room accommodations, a bar, both fine and casual dining, and weddings and events. Moose River Farms offers llama treks, and you can also visit with horses, dogs, goats, donkeys, llamas, geese, chickens, ducks, tortoises and a pot belly pig, too.

I don't know about you, but we're ready to experience this for ourselves.

*PSA: I love llamas and alpacas equally. Some people just argue alpacas are cuter. Here's why they think that.*
