Tim McGraw Named One of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People
A huge congratulations is in order for Tim McGraw! He has been named one of TIME's 100 Most Influential People! It is definitely well-deserved and we're so happy for him!
Recognized in the "Artists" category, Tim McGraw is referred to as "Country's leading light" because of his hard work, amazing success, and overall message as an artist.
John Meacham, a contributing writer for TIME and the man who wrote the article says, "He moves between genres with the same down-to-earth grace that’s always on display at the Nashville high school football games he never misses. A big reader of serious novels and of history, McGraw’s a kind of Renaissance man in a cowboy hat, and it’s clear he’s got a lot of life left to live and art still to make—good news for the rest of us."
WOW! I'm not sure if anyone else could have said it better!
It's really no surprise that Tim is being recognized, when you take into account all of the amazing work he is currently involved in. Besides being a great husband and father to three daughters, he is also working on a movie, Tomorrowland, with George Clooney and getting ready for a 36-city tour that begins in June! He's definitely a man of many skills and its amazing that he, of all people in Country music, is the one leading the pack.
Part of his tour does include the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain, where he'll be playing the Mainstage on June 13th! If you haven't bought your tickets yet, what are you waiting for!? You can purchase them here.
