Bissel is doing their part and now you can do your part to help out the BC Humane Society. They are sponsoring a "Stop, Drop, Adopt" event this Saturday, July 11th. You are encouraged to STOP at the Broome County Humane Society parking lot at 167 Conklin Ave in Binghamton.

You can DROP off your returnable cans as they try to fill the parking lot with returnables for their rescues. Everyone who donates cans will be entered to win an awesome prize.

Last but certainly not least, you can ADOPT a duck for their Duck Derby on Sunday, July 26th. It's their biggest fundraiser of the year at their new location, Highland Park in Endwell. The quacktivities for the derby begin at 12 p.m. and if for some coronavirus reason the event is called off, the duck derby will still happen.

Okay, back to the Stop, Drop, Adopt event. Stop in as Doug's Fish Fry will be on hand this Saturday, July 11th and it goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop off your returnables at the BC Humane Society parking lot near Crowleys in Binghamton. Adopt a duck. It's that simple.
