I have many fond memories taking bus trips with listeners through the years. Together we have gone to Nashville, New York City, Hunter Mountain, the New York State Fair, and numerous concerts.  Fun times!  There's something about leaving the driving to someone else and getting to your destination in ample time to enjoy what you came for.

While multi-day tours can be fun, there's something to be said for one-day tours.  Here are some up and comers with Eastern Travel that caught my eye:

  1. New York City Free-Days:  Everybody loves visiting the Big Apple but driving there and paying for parking can be such a hassle.  A bus could be a great option and there are New York City-Free days scheduled for April 13,23, 30.  Spring is a good time to see New York and this lets you do what you want.
  2. Gamble!:  April 22nd at the Sands Casino in Atlantic City, Mohegan Sun May 12th, or Yellow Brick Casino May 23rd.
  3. Sports:  Yankee fans would love to get their hands on hard-to-get tickets for New York Yankee Old Timers' Day, scheduled for June 12th or a Yankee / Red Sox Game later on in the summer, July 16th.

Sometimes it's nice to just leave town for the day and enjoy some new scenery.  I know for me it always seems like I've been gone for a week but in reality it wasn't even 24 hours.
